Farida Guzdar, has worked in Howard Community College’s executive offices for over 20 years and has served on HCC’s Middle States accreditation committee and the Commission on the Future’s international education task force; hosted international visitors; and interacted with HCC’s international education office, English Language Institute, and English as a Second Language Department. She also brings considerable volunteer experience to FIRN, ranging from supporting cancer patients at Howard County General Hospital to assisting with various community events. A graduate of the University of Calcutta, Farida is fluent in several Indian languages including Hindi, Guajarati and Bengali, in addition to English.
